Steamed Pork in Shrimp Paste













Ingredients
300g pork belly (without skin)
1 Tbsp ginger shredded
1 Tbsp garlic chopped
1 Tbsp shrimp paste
1 tsp shao xing wine
1 Tbsp cornflour
1 Tbsp thai chilli sauce
1/2 tsp salt

Steam for 20 mins

Do you fry any of the ingreadients first or just put everything into the steamer at one go?

For this recipe/dish, it's marinade for 2 hours and just steam it.

wah yummy yummy!!!! so many ingredients. pork belly... slurpy.. by reading the ingredient can already tell it's yumminess. sure can eat a lot of white rice with this dish. eh... what is shrimp paste? cincaruk? what property does it add to the dish? is that to replace salted fish? eh one day u cook for me to eat la... how about during my confinement?

hmmm...I don't think it's either cube or chopped. Well, it look likes small piece of pork slice. For those big guy might want bigger pieces :P
